Christmas Day 2026 falls on Friday 25 December. That sounds generous — a full working week in front of it. It isn't, and the reason catches people out every year: most Australian offices break up the week before, so a corporate gift timed for the 24th turns up at an empty reception desk.
This page is the order-by calendar. Two target dates, every state, every shipping method, worked backwards from our published dispatch cut-offs. Bookmark it — the dates that matter to you are probably in November, not December.

The long weekend on the end is the part worth noting. Because Boxing Day lands on a Saturday, every state and territory gazettes Monday 28 December as a substitute holiday. Nothing moves from Friday the 25th until Tuesday the 29th.

Corporate and bulk orders: work back into November
The shipping table is the last step. Everything that holds up a corporate order happens in front of it — the recipient list, the budget sign-off, and the artwork.

Two dates to plan around in that run-up. Melbourne Cup Day, Tuesday 3 November, is a public holiday in Victoria — a short week, and a hard one for getting approvals signed off. And Black Friday falls on 27 November, the heaviest week of the year for parcel freight in this country. Neither stops you ordering; both are worth staying ahead of.

What these dates assume
Being straight about the limits of a table like this:
- They use the slowest end of each published timeframe. That's deliberate — an early gift costs you nothing, a late one costs the gesture.
- December freight runs slower than any published range. If a gift genuinely can't be late, add a week rather than trusting the last possible date.
- They assume the item is in stock when you order. Popular hampers sell through in December, and a backorder resets the clock.
- They cover dispatch from us. Once a parcel is with a carrier, their network is the constraint, and carriers publish their own Christmas cut-offs closer to the date.
If you've left it late
Melbourne metro has options the rest of the country doesn't. Same-day delivery runs Monday to Friday on a 1pm cut-off, which keeps Thursday 24 December live inside the metro area — not a comfortable option, but a real one.
Outside Melbourne, once the express cut-off has gone, the honest answer is that a gift card or a January delivery beats a parcel landing on the 29th.
